Mommy grocery getter/kid hauler complete. I am a little jealous, but I get to ride with my daughter instead.
I love gardening. These are radishes of a French variety. They taste like your everyday radish, but with less bite/spice.
Every evil genius needs a desk and chair. I put my new desk in place.
We picked up the desktop at the habitat for humanity re-store in Beaverton with some wall shelving. Total cost $11. Win!
You may notice the art on the walls courtesy of my daughter. We gave her the go ahead to draw on the walls when we finally moved into a home instead of an apartment. We kept it up as it is pretty fun to look at.
Building the closet step #43567
Added two more frames and some drywall. It sure is coming together for the wife. She will have her closet soon.
You can see the excitement in my face.
Actually I will be happy when this project is done.

Step #432 of the bedroom rebuild. Remove 70’s wood paneling and put up Sheetrock.
Vacuum up 40 years of spider webs. Thankfully no spiders were there to greet me.
Gardening today. Part 2.
I finished the U-garden dig and was able to get the sod flipped. I have compost, but didn’t have a chance to mix it in. We had a foot injury to deal with. [She’s ok]
As we keep experimenting with things that grow in your front yard I drew up the full plan. We are tearing up more sod and putting in more little garden beds. One of the books that inspired this monkey business is Four-Season Harvest: Organic Vegetables from Your Home Garden All Year Long by Eliot Coleman It can be picked up at Powell’s or Amazon. The idea for the front yard is “less mowing, more eating”. I am hoping this season turns out better than last year.
Gardening today. Part 1.
After a stop at the Portland Nursery we got the 4x4 box prep’d and ready. We also started digging the horseshoe garden.
Our experiment in becoming farmers is moving forward.
Four days of growth on the winter garden. Wow!
